North Georgia lots slope, and a wall that isn't drained is a wall that eventually leans. Our clay holds water against the back of a wall through a wet winter and pushes it forward. We build segmental block and natural stone retaining walls on a compacted leveling pad, with clean drain rock, filter fabric, a perforated drain line, and geogrid tie-backs where the height calls for it. We also build the low walls that do the pleasant work — seat walls, planters, columns and terraces that turn a useless slope into flat, usable yard.

Our Process

Evaluate

We check the slope, the soil, the height needed and where water is coming from before quoting.

Excavate

The trench is dug and a compacted base pad is set so the first course sits dead level.

Build & Drain

Block is stacked and stepped back, with drain rock, fabric and a drain line behind it.

Cap & Backfill

Caps are set and adhered, backfill is compacted in lifts, and the area is graded clean.
