Infill is the sand or coated granule brushed down between the blades, and it does more work than anything else you can't see. It weighs the turf down so it lies flat, holds the blades upright so the lawn doesn't look shiny and matted, protects the backing from UV, and carries water down to the base. Infill also washes out over time — after heavy rain, after cleaning, after a few years of use — and a lawn that has lost its infill goes flat and starts to feel like carpet. We top up existing lawns and spec the right infill for new ones.

Spread in Lifts

Infill goes down in passes rather than all at once, so it seats evenly.

Broom & Settle

Each lift is power-broomed in, and the lawn is watered down to settle it.
